I guess so it must be a somewhat rare motor because I havent seen it much.

 

Does it say DOHC on the valve cover? That's definately the 4G63 then...

I am almost positive that the non turbo 4g engine has the same internals/head and everything. Just no turbo.... wiring/ecu is different

 

NA 4G63's have different valves but the same heads from what I've found in my research and I believe the pistons and teh rods are a bit different too. When I get my NA up here I have a set of T pistons and rods sitting here so I'll compare them and let you guys know for sure.
And the 1G's had the GS not just Eclipse (I can give you my VIN for my '92 it comes up in carfax as a GS).

the head is different in the 4G and 3G compared to the 1G\2G 4G63 but they do share the same pistons and rods as the 2Gs 4G63 from what I have read.

 

Yeah I'm sure the head should be the same it's the valves that are different if I'm not mistaken. The NA valves are smaller I believe.
