Yea, anything drastic you're better off getting one. The geometry of the stock suspension is setup for the stock size and it won't be as good on anything when you change it, and of coures the more you change it the worse it will get.

 

8" is the largest width you can go, but you will still have to do some custom fitting

 

what if you get a wide body kit or one of those wide body fender flares? could you go wider than 8?

 

Hay DarkManC do you have any pics of those 20" rims on your Eclipse? Can you give me details on the setup or installation or handling you had with them? Preciate it.

 

Will 17x8 fit my 2004 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GTS I have 17x7 factory rims on my car now. The rims I want are only one inch wider. I don't really want to do any mods to the car to get the rims to fit. I prefer just to put the rims on the car. Please let me know if these 17x8 will fit my Eclipse without mods, thanks
