Ive got a 97 eclipse spyder

Exedy Stage 1 clutch/flywheel
evo3 16g ported and clipped
Turbo xs rfl BOV recirculated
190lph fuel pump
MBC
Turbo back 2.5" exhaust (vented o2 housing)

I just installed a new fuel filter b/c I used to have DSMlink and I was running extremely lean with 90%+ inj duty at 15lbs of boost. The fuel filter was very dirt trust me...

I just noticed 2 days after Im hearing a SERIOUS knocking noise internally in the motor. It "sounds" like its comming from cylinder 1. Idle is perfect, but SLOWLY increasing the rpms around 2000-3000ish(havent taken it higher) I hear an internal knockin noise like "marbles hitting metal"...
All, gauges are green and good oil?

New motor or head? Valve fcked? Sell the car, give me your input etc!!!

 

without hearing it... it sounds like crankwalk is setting in and you spun a bearing (and running lean will help spin them) could be bad timing and a valve could be hitting but I dont think you car would run at them moment so I am sticking by a bearing

 

Crankwalk, rod knock, spun bearing.... something like that.
