it depends on how good the engine was taken care of before you bought it. And also how good you take care of it, and do the maintinence. I've seen mitsubishi engines with 300,xxx miles or more on them, and still running strong. Just make sure all maintinence is up to date, and fix any visible leaks, and you should be good to go.
