All right man no problem. And hey, even if you don't wind up buying it, just enjoy the feeling of having a turbo-supercharger under the hood.

good and bad news!!!
ok im back with the update...let me say that i felt the difference BIG TIME my rs eclipse and then i jumped on that gs-t whoa big difference!!!
ok so after much talk yes it was the transmission my dad took a look at the engine and he told the guy to put the price down because we would have to change the transmission! they guy said no that he would not do that because he needed that money in order to buy a car....
i did drive and i floored that junk! i took it on the expressway on I-95 it was real real nice! the only problem was that noise it made when we turn the car on and stuff =/...but yeah the guy said he had other people waiting to buy the car and that he wanted the money all cash i only had (5,500) so my dad took a look at it and said no the price is to high (6,500) and we had to change the transmission and stuff...i did notice some rust under the car but not much...so yeah i found anotehr gs-t 1995 it has 83,000 miles and they are selling it for 5,000 the guy said he would send me pics so i will post them later( so far all i know is that the engine is all stock)

i want to give thanks to all the guys tha helped me thanks everyone

So it made a noise when you would turn?
LOL nm i re-read the post. well there are plenty out there but that much for a car with a bad tranny is way to much.

Sounds pretty reasonable for me. Wish I could buy it, lol. As for the clutch replacement, why would that be iffy? Sometimes thing need to be replaced every once in a while. Unless you mean that maybe that means it was raced. Well if that were true there'd probably be some other replacements he would have done. Either way, they are newer parts that you won't have to worry about for a while.

It sounds good to me, but let me know how the test drive goes.

1.) As far as the bottum grey strip that is not dirt or anything that did come standard with some of the first ones made I believe. Only reason for that is dirt not showing considering thats usually the dirtiest part of the car.
2.) As far as the clutch going out and having to replace it, I wouldnt worry if it doesnt make a noise because most likely the clutch was replaced before it completely went out and had a chance of messin with the tranny. Its not unusual for that clutch to need a replacement with that mileage as we all can tell. Well personally ive had to change mine as well.
3.) I think you should definately be able to talk them down on that car if you would like to purchase it. But for some reason I believe under the hood is not ganna be the greatest thing. Im sure the dealer will clean it up and make it presentable but be even more cautious with checking this engine over because they will try and hide things. Do a much more detailed check than on the previous engine.
Talk to you soon.

ok cool i will keep tha in mind eclipseonjuice

ok this has nothing to do with the topic but i need every ones opinion....
i have a 98 eclipse rs it has 73,000 miles ive had it for 1 year and it has not given me any problems...i want to buy a gs-t but i want a 98-99 gs-t but all the ones i find are to expensive and i dont have that kind of money....i like this one because if i sell my rs to my aunt she will give me $5,000 and i can buy this 95 gs-t ( i hope im not confusing anyone)
here is my question...lets say the 95 gs-t is perfect to buy....is it worth going down on the years? i have a 98rs 73,000 miles is it worth going down in years to a 95 gs-t 83,000 miles?
im new to cars so i just need to know if what i plan on doing is worth it>? i hope you guys understand my question
