2000 eclipse stalling
i Have a 2000 eclipse 4g64 the vehicle has po340 code replaced cam sensor, purchased car looks like someone replaced head gasket/timing belt everything looks correct. i looked at cam position sensor housing/reluctor wheel and looks to me like sensor is far away from wheel, i used osiliscope and looks like sign wave is very abnormal, anyone one have info on air gap for wheel/sensor on this model i feel that sensor should be right next to the reluctor wheel to get proper pulse signal. any info would be great.
After reassembling timing belt area and reinstall of valve cover and coils the vehicle will not start. it turns over but will not catch. i have spark but it feels like it is not timed spark anymore. i know the crank sensor signals ecm but is ecm actually controlling spark timing? anyone? Thanks
