I am new around here as well with mistsubishi. I recently bought a 01 eclipse gs, i didnt notice this at first since i didt drive at 5rpm or higher, i noticed that there is presure on the gas pedal once i reach 5rpm. Is this normal? might be a stupid quesiton but hell i dont really know much and want to learn. Thnx for the help.

 

ummm.....pressure on the gas pedal? could you explain a little more? ive never heard of that

 

the pedal pushed back at 5000rpm. It feels a jumpy like if i were forcing the engine. I dont know if thats is normal.

 

i think it is.. you should feel a little resistance... just like n e car i've ever driven it...i mean i hit the peddle and those rpms go up i find it a little harder to push the peddle much more
