Default Gas gauge

My gas gauge takes forever and a day to move after i fill my car. Most of the time when i fill it until the the pump wont pump anymore, it doesn't make it up to full. I havent ran out of gas yet but just wondering if this is just how they are or what. Kind of annoying, every other car i've owned it reads what it is soon as i turn on the car.

Maybe its a little dirty. You can unscrew the gages and clean them out and spray them with WD40 or something. I know a couple people that have that problem.

its prolly about 10-15 minutes or so. I guess i've never really paid that much attention to it. All cars i've had are instant or almost instant.

thats nothing to really worry about. Mine always took a couple minutes before it finally got up to full.

thats normal. Its designed to react very slowly so that sloshing gas wont make it bounce all over as you're driving along.
