what oil weight does the 2000 eclipse GT need? ive looked every where and can't find it. and car shops dont know either

Depends on how many miles it has. But usually 30, I just changed my oil at 46000 miles wiith Mobile 1 Synthetic 10w30

Should be written on the oil cap but yeah 10W30 should work

5w30 or 10w30 depending on where you live.

another tidbit of information. if a car shop doesn't know the oil weight than can be used, then i suggest you either go to another shop, or change your own oil.

wasn't written on oil cap thats why i asked. car shops didnt know, i asked a friend and she said 5w30. i was going to do it myself anyway. but thanks anyway
