When I got back from work tonight, after 15 miles of highway, I stopped at the light and the idle sharply dropped down almost to 0, the car almost stalled and the oil light started to blink. Then it did the same thing every time I stopped and hit neutral.
My car: a 2000 eclipse GS +74000 miles, STD transmission, bought last saturday.
Where does the problem come from?
How can I fix it?
Thanks a lot for your help.

I'm wondering...by any chance did you have your AC on? And on the "snowflake" setting? Because my car does that if I turn on the super cold AC, it stalls.
If not then my first guesses would be that it could be bad plugs or that maybe there's some gunk in the throttle body.

That means there is a little electrical problem. Check all your grounds are secure. Check the battery terminals on the car... check the battery holds its charge well. Check the alternator output. I guarentee one of them is causing that
