Need help fast water in intake

Default Need help fast water in intake

I have a 2001 eclipes v6. i drove it up to ct from florida it was raining alot and water got into my intake. my gas has been bogging out and doesnt idle right.my check engine light was on and the computer said cylinder miss fire. so when i pulled the spark plug out of the first cylinder it pretty wet. so i went and changed it and got the check engine shut off but the car is still running like ****. does anyone one else know wut it can be and how to get my car to runn normal again

Well, this exact same thing happened to me... In Florida, no less... NOt to scare you... but.. I ended up having to replace the engine. Hydro-locked. Water doesnt compress, man...

Reset the ECU by taking the battery off for 10 mins. Put the key in the ignition to drain any excess power. Then reconnect it.. and drive it around a little.

Ok... take the spark plugs out and crank it. Thats how you get it out... but after that you need to reset the ECU... then ifthat dosent work.. you have a major problem
