New Clutch Making Noise??
I have a 2005 Eclipse GT. I just professionally had a Clutchmasters stage 3 clutch and Clutchmaster flywheel installed on my car last week. I have only driven the car approx. 5 miles. I have not hot rodded the car i.e. burnouts, slipping, etc. When I crank it up the car makes a horrible sound of something either loose or grinding for about 10 secs until the car has smoothed out. I have not driven it wondering if I need to return it to the shop where it was installed. I do not want to ruin my car. After the car has warmed up there is no noise at all, until the clutch is being engaged or disengaged and a noise that sounds close to grinding gears (misshifting) but at stand still.
Are new clutches supposed to sound like this? Does anyone know what is actually happening inside the bell housing? Is the flywheel loose or improperly installed? Is it the clutch plate that is making the noise?
Any help here would be appreciated.

I dont think the shop did. I bought my parts and took the car and the parts to the shop and they did the work. I did not even think about the throw out bearing being the problem. Now that you mention it, and now that I put the sound together that is exactly what it is....
Thanx guys =)
