I just bought a 2001 Eclipse Myself. I do agree the mods are very expensive. I bought the V-6 with the 5speeder manual trans. It runs great. The turbo runs close to $5,000, just in parts not including the guages, clutch, and other accs. My eclipse runs a 15.2 quarter mile. I have an exhaust modification, as well as a brembo brake package already installed. It is really good car. Does so so on gas. I get roughly 21-23 mpg.
