Turbonator
Alright, alot of my friends are into cars and I have recently seen this thing called a turbonator in a car magazine. All of them are laughing and telling me that it won't work and it is a waste of money. I currently don't have the money to just drop and put a turbo into my car so I was wondering if anyone new if this was a decent idea to add a couple ponies and hold me over until I have the money to purchase a actual turbo. thanx
eclipsed4utoo(Mitsubishi-Forums.com)"THE JET MODULES CANNOT DO ANYTHING FOR YOU. THROTTLE BODY SPACERS WILL DO NOTHING BUT LIGHTEN YOUR WALLET. SO WILL ELECTRIC SUPERCHARGERS AND THE "TURBONATOR". If you want to spend your money on these, you can feel free to send that money to me. You will get the same reward out of it."
the best thing i've ever heard.

it claims to create some kind of vortex in your intake, which supposedly helps fuel milage, but the air goes around a bunch of other turns and s#it not to mention being blocked by the intake valves, all it does is create air resistance in your intake, which will actually rob you of hp and fuel milage. as they said, DONT DO IT!
could we make this subject a sticky? seems a lot of people dont get the concept of air resistance

I purchased the turbonator and applied it to a 94 Ford Ranger 4cyl. I had it dyno'd without it and with it. The vehicle turned 86 rwhp w/o the turbonator and 72 rwhp with the turbonator. It is a scam. DON'T BUY IT.
