Default convertible roof sensors
Where are the sensors located that active the roof open warning light?

Roof is solidly locked but warning light stays on and beeps when moving from a stop.

I just bought my 2012 spyder and I am having the exact problem you have described. Hopefully someone can help. As you know, very annoying.

Mine has self corrected itself. Reverts once in awhile but returns to normal fairly quickly. Dealer wanted 400 just to diagnos.

Mine actually worked perfect today. I kind of probed around but didn't do anything. We will see what happens tomorrow.
