I am trying to remove the radio to tap into the audio outs for my sub. I removed the panel behind the screen, then 2 screws, but it still will not budge. Anyone know how to remove this?
I solved it. I had to dismantle the entire face of the dash and there were 2 more screws holding the radio. All good. I was able to tie my sub into the radio and all is working. In case anyone needs it here is a pic of the harness. The yellow and brown and yellow and blue are the front speakers.
I have that exact same vehicle as you and I've been trying to get integrated into my radio. I had a T harness created by OWC upgrades but have been weary about getting into my Dash could you tell me how many screws and where to locate them as well as a panels are they all pull panels? I've been waiting forever to try and put my amps and subs in already got the alternator from Brand X I just need to install the rest of it
Do you have a picture of the T-harness you made? Also, do you have a part number or who you talked to at OWC Upgrades? I'm looking for a t-harness as well to install a audio control 5 channel and Diamond Audio spare tire sub.

The grey harness is what I received the harness with the colors is basically a diagram of what Chris from OWC sent me. Did you by any chance take pictures or could you describe to me with as much detail as possible on what you did to get to the radio. If it was all clips or were there some screws involved as well.
Chris is the owner of OWC I am a customer of his. Check out his site get in touch with him and let him know Pete from El Paso, TX that bought the harness for his 23' Mitsubishi Outlander SE told you about him.
