I have a 97 GS Spyder and my car idles fine when starting, but as soon as I put in some gas, Idle drops and car dies. I cleaned out throttle body and Idle Air Control Value already. What else could it be?

check out your fuel filter and the filter on the fuel pump itself. Mine practically did the same thing a few months ago. You may even want to check the fuel pump itself, sometimes there is a small plastic piece at the beginning of the fuel line where the pump connects that may have a crack in it that can screw it all up. good luck.

 

That's why my first question was about bad gas. I know with prices going up, gas manufacturers start trying to find ways of cutting costs and this usually ends up being making lower quality gas! This is especially true with regular unleaded. Either way, its most likely something with the fuel system.
