Today I was driving around town and everything was fine. I left for about 2 hours and when I came back started my car I found that the clutch was hard to push in. Also when shifting gears it feels like it is not able to be pushed fully in however I have no problem changing gears.

I found that when I have the car turned off and I try and push in the clutch it gets pushed in with ease like it used to before but when the car is on it is hard to push in.

Can someone please help me with this issue. If you need any additional information let me know. thanks in advance

 

Could be worn clutch hydraulics, like master or slave cylinder. Or it could be a deformed throwout bearing.
