Default 13mm HEAD BOLT TOOL

I am working on a 1992 Mitsubishi Eclipse. Before i can remove the head i need to find a 13mm allen socket to fit the bolts. I can't find this tool ANYWHERE...... not Napa, Sears, AutoZone, Oreilys or Advance Auto Parts.....Nowhere. If anyone has a link, or anything to help me with this please send a e-mail asap. PS.. Thanks for your help...DSM for life

I would suggest Snap-On or Mac Tools. It will be expensive from them as they serve the professional market but the quality will be good. They usually have local dealers that drive around in trucks to the various garages. The HO web site should be able to put you in touch with the local rep.

I tried to locate the 13 mm allen socket Snapon and Mac and came up with 12 mm and a 14mm. If you know anyone who has found the magic 13mm allen socket or another way to take the bolts out let me know. There as got to be a tool to take that out. Thanx man

I would then buy the std 13mm allen wrench that comes with the bent end. Use a metal cutting cut-off disk as would be found for an angle grinder to cut a straight length from the allen wrench, a hack saw probably won't work as the allen wrenches are hardened. Use water to keep the cut cool so as not the soften the metal. The cut off piece can then be inserted into a std. 13mm 6 point socket, 1/2" drive. Don't cut the allen wrench too long as that will torque too much when trying to loosen the head bolts.
