Default 2.4 4G64 SOHC head/clutch work

Hi fellas/gals, nice to be here. this is my first post. i appreciate any help you guys may be able to provide.

As my post title says, I have a 2001 Mitsubishi 2.4 SOHC 4G64. But, it's in a dodge stratus (sorry I couldn't find any GOOD stratus forums!) The PO of this car was idling when the timing belt broke. He had it replaced at a shop without having them check the valves.... Well, there is a bent valve as they found out after they replaced the belt. So here's my quandry: I've mostly worked on rear wheel drive cars/trucks. Can I pull the head on this car with the engine still in the car? I don't have access to a lift to drop the engine underneath the car. Is there room to pull the timing cover and pullies so the head can be removed? the car has alot of miles and I'd like to replace the clutch as well. again, i'd like to leave the engine in the car if at all possible. Are these feats able to be accomplished without dropping the entire engine/trans?

Any input is greatly appreciated. As I said, i'm a new front wheel drive guy here!

Thanks fellas/gals!
