Help. I have a 2000 Eclipse GT A/T 6 cyl. The problem is it won't start. First you can't hear the fuel pump activate. Then when you turn the key to start you hear the starter clicking, but it won't turn over. I figure a relay. But no, verified all relays and nothing. Don't know if it has to do with the anti theft system or not. But I get no horn as if it was activated. Has this happened to anyone? I would greatly appreciate any help from someone.

 

omg that just happen to me yesterday. It was fine I turned the car off and about 10 mins later went to start it and out of no where it started doing that clicking before I even tried to turn it over then the starter clicking. I can't figure it out. It wouldn't. Jump off at all either . Ggggrrrrr

 

what youre dealing with is either a loose battery connection or a ignition issue...my 2000 gt had this issue when i bought it and i automatically went out and put a push button start in it...works great now and if you search around on ebay you can find all kinds of cool push button starters for your vehicle
