2013 rvr/outlander sport rear caliper piston issue
Hello all,
new to the forum. My left rear caliper piston won't go in enough un order to fit over the new pads. It caliper housing won't fit back over the old pads either due to the piston. Did not have this issue when servicing them last year. In fact, I had to remove the old shims just to he able to squeeze on the caliper housing. I bought the cube tool to twist the piston back in but it still pops out a tad too much. Maybe the new brake pads are too thick? They are from a 2014 model. Front brakes were not an issue at all when replaced in the fall.
