Default 99 eclipse trans fluid and pvc valve

I asked this question in the eclipse folder but no one seems to know so I will try here. On a 99 eclipse in the owners manual it says to use the diamond brand auto transmission fluid that you can only get at the dealer. Surely there is a aftermarket brand that will work just as fine. What is it? Also, where is the pvc valve located on this model. Rs inline 4 Thanks for any info.

CHRYSLER ATF CAN BE USED BUT IT HAS TO BE THAT KIND OF AUTOMATIC TRANS FLUID ,THE TRANSMISSION IS MADE BY CHRYSLER SAME AS THE NEON AND AVENGER, THE PVC YOU WILL SEE IT ON TOP OF THE VALVE COVERIS CONECTED TO A HOSE LOOKS LIKE A PLASTIC TUBE CONECTED TO RUBBER HOSE
