Hi all,
I posted this up with my intro into this forum but thought I would post it in the right area. So here is my problem:
I have just replaced my turbo because it was blowing blue smoke and put on another TD05H (brand new, not reconditioned). However I just took her for a spin and I still have oil in the compressor side leading into the intercooler. Does anyone know why I would be getting oil on the inlet side of the turbo, for instance is there an oil restrictor that goes into the feed line???
I'm out of idea's and am at a complete loss with it. Can my new turbo have blown seals? I have an oil catch can and have gotten rid of the PVC valve and yet my new turbo is acting like the seals are gone.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There is a chance that if the part was sitting on the shelf too long that the seals dried out and took on a permanent form. Sometimes a little oil, heat and time will allow them to reform to the shaft. Also, like any new part you need to give them time to break in.
