ok, i'll check out the wiring but the problem started right after i replaced my battery and took out my cd deck (coincidence?)....i dont see why the wiring all of a sudden would cause problems....

hey its cool man.. yeah, no system...check the gounds from your deck.. maybe you twisted something or broke something loose when removing/installing.

 

darkman, i checked the wiring for the speakers and it seems fine so i'm going to check the ground from the deck tonight like you suggested burnt....not looking forward to removing the trim and stuff again...i lost two screws in the depths of the diamante dash last time!

I feel ya man.. not as easy as pullin some trim from the eclipse dash! sucks though, i've been there with other cars, like my old Cavi.. had to pull the ENTIRE top off.. ugh, but yeah, always end up with extras don't you? just think of it as a weight restriction you are getting rid of!! lol,

oh, and Both of my rear (only rear) speakers make the noise...
