i have a 1st gen eclipse 94 with a 2.0 dohc engine. just put a new starter in then had battery issues disconnected my battery then everything worked fine. just noticed now that when i hit about 5000 rpms my car will shut off and kick back on acting like i just started it. if anybody has any ideas please let me know i will be glad to try them to get this problem solved. thank you

 

Does it feel like its missing? Are you getting a check engine light?

 

no its not missing for some reason i unhooked my battery and rehooked it and it was fine i had to replace starter wire not sure if it was hittin somthin and shortin out or what but somtimes when im driven my check engine light will pop on and then off again for no reason
