Default Check Engine Code T0303

Have been told this is a code for surge engine is firing. The car had not been started for about a week and when started felt like it was firing on only 3 cylinders for about a minute and then smoothed out but the check engine light has stayed on, what is it and what does it mean?

Don't know, but could be a clogged injector that finally cleared itself. Disconnect battery to reset 'check engine' light?

I think you mean "P" as in PO303, correct Oldschool?
If so...
PO303
Cylinder #3 misfire*
Things to look at.....
Ignition coil / Spark plugs / Ignition circuit / Injector / Upstream HO2S / Compression pressure / Timing belt / Crankshaft position sensor / Air intake / Fuel pressure / Crankshaft position sensor circuit and connector / Bad tuning

I could have been a dirtied plug in cylinder 3 that caused the misfire, then finally cleared itself?

I had my daughter stop at the local auto parts and they told her the code and she then told me the code, so probably P0303. Well, the matter seems closed at the time, the light went off and has not come back on and the car seems to be fine again.

Cool beans.
The guy at the parts store probably had a speach impediment and he said "P" but made it sound like a "T", lol.

Don't even get me started on part store guys, the 4th time I went to a part store I got the right power steering hose for a car. Thank goodness they had the old one in their hand or it could have been more.
