CVT, 2008 ES Outlander. 31000 miles.

Default CVT, 2008 ES Outlander. 31000 miles.
When pushing down the brake pedal to enable the selector to be moved out of park I can hear what sounds like lose components in the selector mechanism. Does anyone have any info or experience of this?
