hey folks, I'm new on this site, but I'm hopin someone can help me out with this. The problem is, I recently got myself a 91 Eclipse GS, the turbo model. Anyway, when I got the car, first thing I did was tear into it and found alot of hokey work, and managed to fix it, untill i got around to the head surface. Turns out someone took a belt grinder to to try and machine it on the cheap, so that head is garbage. Now my question is, can I put a non-turbo head on in place of a turbo head? Cuz man the turbo heads are rare around here and they aint cheap. Can anyone help??

1g 2.0heads are the same turbo or not, just swap over the cams.

 

I think the exhaust outlet is bigger on the turbo.... I could be wrong.
