Default easy performance mods

does anyone know how to do little mods to help you get 1 or 2 extra hp. one example is off a ford taurus and bronco. there is a radiator hose connected to the throttle boty that creates excessive heat. you take it off and seal up the hose and you can feel the difference right away but mostly after you engine is warmed up

What kind of car. Right when i got my Eclipse, i took off the air silencer/restricter. It should be at the end of your intake. Mine went to the fender of my car and just ended, so it was restricting a lot of airflow. Well after i got that off i could feel a difference. Plus it sounded alot different, in a good way. It sounded alot meaner and made it sound like i had alot of **** under my hood, even though i just got it. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

how cheap are we talking... and why would you want an extra 1 or 2 hp?? I understand that more is better... but for that... change your oil and fuel filters, dump in some injector cleaner, run premium fuel.. that will add 2hp, new plugs and wires, that should add a couple 3-5hp. to the crank, not to the wheels...I double you'd feel the difference though. intake will hold its own, but thats in the$200+ range, headers will dramatically increase flow and you WILL feel that and thats in the $250-$400 range... nothing for cars is cheap... expect, at least for my gsx, everything you want is $250+
