It happens sometimes and last for a few days,: I hear a "click" (electric sound) the engine lights turns on for a few seconds, and the car loses speed, it feels like it is going to shut down the engine and stop.... and then it pass and keeps going...my mechanic could not find anything..

 

what kinda car, any mods, how old, how long has it been doing it, more detail...

 

Thanks for asking, is an eclipse 94, it has been happening since 4 months ago, it lasted for 10 days and it never happened again until today.
It is scary because the car tends to stop and not funny if I am on the expressway. but it is very moody,,,it does it and then it does not, my mechanic used it for 3 days and it never happened to him...psssss,,,the only thing I know is that I changed the alternator not long ago,,
