engine noise and gas mileage
New member here. I have an 05 endeavor.
Recently i have noticed the cabin noise increased. I thought it may be the new tires i changed. But the engine noise got louder. When idle or between 0 and 20 mph, the car sounds normal. When slowing down to a stand still - there is that usual "click" as if there is a shut off and no noise. However, when i accelerate beyond 25+ the engine sounds forced. As if over worked. I check the rpm's and they remain between 1 and 2. The temperature of my car has not risen at all. It stays normal. But now my gas milage has dropped considerably, like crazy!
The car feel forced and clearly sounds forced.
going on a road trip next thursday any ideas ????
