i have a Mitsubishi mirage 1997 1.5 engine and i replaced the throtal positioning sensor in it and its acting funny i was told by a friend that it needs to be dialed in but un sure how to.. the idol drops low then goes back up high. and it sputters alot wen you go to fast can someone please help......

 

too fast = valve bounce?

Why did you replace it?

Disconnect battery overnight.

 

The person we bought the car from said to replace it then we had it checked... And it was bad... Ty for givin me some ideas.. Im getting really frustrated.

 

also be a timing issue.
Not sure what causes electric cars to hunt.
So yea, batt off overnight.
