how do i change the trany fluid on a 1999 eclipse gs? halp!
hi everyone!!!
im really new to working on cars and stuff and i just bought my first car and im having transmiton issues... so i want to try changing the trany fluid before i rip everything apart, but im trying to find the drain plug and the dip stick but im not having any luck please help me! also what type of fluid do i use(i was thinking Pennzoil or GM syncromesh)? i live in wisconsin so it gets cold up here, and also fairly warm in the summer. the car is a 1999 mitsubishi eclipse gs Manual.
Thanks in advance for your time everyone!!!

well the transmition is really rough... every now and again shifting from first to second, it will grind and then pop into place... also at times its hard to **** into first from neutral at a dead stop... just over all rough shifting... what could that be?
