idling problems

Default idling problems

got a new battery for my 2003 lancer es and now it will not idle it just dies. what can i do?

When you replaced the battery did you disconnect anything else?

Drive it around for a few miles so the pcm can relearn itself.

had the same experience. factory reset procedure is to disconnect the battery again, reconnect, let it start and idle for 10 minutes to relearn. it'll be funny sounding, but should relearn just fine.
