Default Important question before i sell my car!!!!!!

Sometimes if i turn the wheel too sharp it lets out a high pitched squeel from the car. It used to happen only when i cut the wheel sharp but now it happens when i star my car and turn the wheel at all. Then i'll run it for awhile and it will be fine.

I just put on a new belt(i dont know which one) but i think it may need tightened and i havent done it yet. Im going to do it tommorow but if it isnt that what do you think it is????

sounds like something to do with the power steering. If it is a belt noise then thats your best bet.

It's most likely your belt. It has worn out and is not pushing the pump. Make sure to change it and tension it well. If it keeps, winning, change the tensioner. Make sure you fill the resovoir to the "full" mark, and turn the wheel left to right for 30 seconds before going for a test drive. Good luck

agreed, definatly a belt. there are 2 to replace in most cars so you may have just replaced the wrong one. or just didn't tighten it enough.
