Default iPod connection problem

Hey folks-
New to the forums, obviously. Seems like a great place you have here.

I recently bought an 04 Galant. I wanted to play my iPod Touch through the speakers, so I bought an FM dock from DLO. Problem is, it doesn't work. It tunes to a station that is blank, but as soon as I plug the actual iPod into the dock it picks up a radio signal. Now, I tried it in my father's Lexus and the product works fine. So I'm guessing it's the car/product combo that is screwy. My dad thinks it might be the fact that the antenna is embedded into the glass in the rear of the Galant, but he's not sure.

Did anyone else have this problem and was able to fix it, or can anyone who has an 04 Galant recommend a good FM transmitter for an iPod?

Thanks!!

So the same station works in the other car. Thats really strange. Ussually when the ipod is plugged in it would do the opposite and drown out station.

Your father must be right or the quality of the I pod adapter is not compatible with your IPOD.

I have SANZA and It usually work on my 2008 Lancer. I use FM station to listen to it.
