You need an adapter that is connected in the back side of your radio, in the port that seems S-Video. P/N MZ608561, or Kenwood KCA-iP500 iPod® Control Interface:

NOTE: this adapter is only for MMCS

Another alternative is that you obtain a audio/video adapter cable (iPod/RCA terminals) to connect to input on rear central console and to listen through AUX input . . .

But will the Kenwood version work with the no Sat Nav single Disc Unit? If it does, I think I will get one, not cheap at around £65.00.

jrsd -

Have you used that kenwood adapter? Does it allow you to charge the ipod? Does it allow you to control the playback with the onscreen and steering wheel controls?

Thanks!

I agree mitsupartsman [sm=smiley20.gif], I check in the rear side of the CD-radio and there is no such connector, so for Helicopter_red , the second option would be for him. I placed a commentary to clarify this

abrcrombe, I do not have this accessory. The kenwood adapter that I commented treated in the forum and azchipka obtained the model. I remember that he said that did not work the controls in the steering wheel, but I need to find in where its. . .

Don't think it will as the UK model doesn't have the connector behind the centre console.

Does anyone have a picture of where this Kenwood KCA-iP500 plugs into the MMCS?

Mitsubishi Australia installed a connection at the back of my single unit. I just connects to the output of the iPod, so no charging and it uses the aux to play.
