okay, so installed the deck, now my key won't come out of the ignition switch, did the little tricks, nothing worked...starting to figure it might be a sort of current thats been shorted or something, not sure, im not so

 

My sons girlfriends car is doing the same thing. Its a 98 eclipes spider gs. Any help on this issue

 

Try turning the key to on, stepoping on the brake pedal and putting the automatic shifter through some gears (no need to start the car). Return it back to park and then take the key out. The "shift lock release" that prevents the auto shifter from moving until a key is engaged and in the "on" position can fail, causing the key to be stuck in the ignition switch. Good Luck!
