The Emergency brake on my 2003 Spyder was used for the first time since i bought it last night when parked on a hill. I just noticed today, when its down, its very loose. Is this normal or should I get it checked out?

 

You may just have to tighten the cable on the handle itself. At least that's how I've always resolved a loose brake handle...unless the pads were just worn down of course.
