I have a 1996 Evo GSR 2.0 manualwhich seems to lose all power at about 3000 - 4000 rpm (When your putting your foot down), any ideas what might cause it. Engine management light is not coming on. Car is unmolested ie no turbo timer fitted.

Any help appreciated.

I'dinstalllambda (O2 sensor)monitor to check for lean/rich condition and also something tomonitor boost pressure. This will give you the picture.

 

does the rpms shoot up or does the car bog down?

 

Hi, i would suspect to your fuel pump.
