My son's 98 GT wants to jump out of reverse, occasionally. Is there an adjustment somewhere to more fully engage reverse? There doesn't seem to be any problem of any kind in the forward gears.

I would try and get ahold of NESpeed, i think he has a similiar problem with his car.

Check the linkage, see if its binding up, or even out of adjustment. Unhook the linkage and put it in reverse with the linkage detached, and see if it pops out then. Let me know
