Mirage crank bolt
I am trying to put a timing belt on a 95 Mirage 1.8l, and I can not get the crank pully bolt off. It this thing reverse theaded or just on there very tight? I have used an impact wrench but it will not loosen up. Please help

No its not reverse threaded.
Seems like it though
Go to the other side of the engine to where the trans is.
Remove the bottom cover plate.
See the holes cast into the flywheel ?
Jam a big heavy-duty screwdriver into one of these holes to
jam the turning.
Now try to loosen that crank bolt.
The crank bolt on this model is tightened to 80lbs torque.
It is hard to loosen but not impossible.
Get a torque wrench rated up to 80+ lbs to tighten it back up.
