I have a 01 galant and by the rear fender well there is a rubber vent hose hanging loose . does any one know what its for and what does it vent . the vent hose (rubber)cant be seen from inside trunk or out side . also when I go around a curve to the right I hear a squeeking sound like metal rubbing metal . I have had it on the rack many time cant find anything I can shake the car or rock it and no squeeking only going into a curve to the right .

 

ok some one what does it take to get a reply on this forum.or is it because no one know's what the vent hose is for

I see there has bee 39 viewer on this post and no response . I was hoping to at least get a reply like I wish I could help you but, no one cared enough to say anything so I say kiss my tail pipe. I've got no reason to come here any more .
