Default need help with galant

i got a 2002 galant. lately there's been a lot of shakin when i'm braking ( the wheel and the brakes) there's a banging sound coming from the passengers side. I figured its probably my brakes or tires... could it be anything else??

are the brake rotors original? it sounds like its time for new rotors, but you may be able to get away with the rotors being cut...that would likely account for the shaking, as for the sound, i dont know...

You should read a thread in the eclipse sectionof this forum. It is titled "eclipse front end shake". We talked about a problem similar to yours. Read down and there is an article about pad and rotor break-in procedures.
