New Radiator super Cooling question: '06 Outlander
Hey all, I replaced the infamous leaky stock radiator on my '06 Outlander, which does a lot of A/C churning, and hauling bikes on the roof here in sunny VA.
It went well, and I used the good stuff: Peak 'Japanese' Color Premium Coolant for the change.
BUT: I am now supercooled, and running maybe 40% cooler than ever... so much so, I'm idling a bit high. (about 950 RMP's).
Any thoughts on what could cause this..? Why doesn't the thermostat and ECM compensate..? I think its great in the summer when running the A/C, but right now at say outside temp of 40 degrees, it runs so cold it doesn't even register on the gauge until I sit at idle for a while.. Drops all the way down again when driving.
Thoughts..?! Thanks!!
