Default NO BOOST AT ALL PLEASE HELP ME!

ok, hey all, first of all i'd like to say sorry if this has been asked before but i'm new.

Ok, so after an engine rebuild i decided to go with a T3/T4, hooked up all piping with no apparent leaks, made fittings and al that....

get on it..... No BOOST, and I mean no boost at all. So I undid the pipe that goes from the bov (HKS SSBOV) to the in-mani, and there is spool up when I manually give it throttle.

In other words, I know the turbo is good, actually i bolted on my buddy's t3/t4 just to see and I have the same problem.

Please guys any help would be godsent.

thanks in advance,

Maurizio

Well, that's odd. First, how are you measuring boost? Through a guage or datalogger? Or are you driving the car and not getting boost? Remember, when there is no load, the turbo won't create boost. So if you're just parked and revving the engine you won't get much boost. When you blip the engine real quick, you'll feel some pressure, but it's not the amount of boost you'd be running. If you're driving and still no boost, check the BOV and see that it isn't opened up all the time or broken. Also if you're using a guage to check for boost, check all wiring and blah, blah, blah, you already know that. But sometimes the most overlooked things are the simplest. Hope this helps you out, and good luck.

im not sure if this would be an issue or not, but did you check to make sure the turbine housing isnt cracked.... if it is that could also be why u dont make boost, make sure your intake is getting proper air flow, if thats obstructed it would also cause the turbo to not make boost...... like spyderGS said, try the simplest things first, 9/10 times thats what the problem is........

listen to SpyderGS.. it is a good idea to take it on the road, cause with a large turbo like your's, it will be hard to get any pressure without a load. if that doesn't work, check for more leaks... something is not tight
