Default noise

I hit a pot hole the other day(about 3 weeks ago actually)anyway......there is a noise that was not there before. It sounds like something grinding but its really faint.I notice it when I shift mostly when the rpms are higher. I took it to midas and to a mechanic and they found nothing.I am going to get an alignment this weekend and replace the rotors.I know the pass side rotor is a bit warped.could this be causing the sound?I think its in the drive shaft or wheel bearing.Either way if you have any ideas let me know.If you think I need to take it to a tranny shop I will,I just think they try to rip people off more than any other type of mechaic.....just my opinion ttyl

Sorry I meant the axels....I have had 3 hrs sleep in 2 days and I was at work.neways....im going to have the tranny checked but it is possible that it could be caused by the warped rotor.it seems to get a little more noticable when shifting.(its not the seats lol...we have cloth)it is coming from the right side of the car but you can only hear it when driving.my wife thought it was the exaust.either way im going to keep looking ill let yall know what I find.later
