Default Outlander Transmission Drain Plug?

Anyone know whether the 2003 Outlander (with AWD) and transmission W4A42has a drain plug on the pan? I want to change over the fluid, and am trying to figure out whether I want to try and flush myself, by pulling the return to trans hoseand dumping from there, while filling with SP III.

The other option is to get a suction pump and change it out over a couple of duck/refills.

Any ideas?

Default RE: Outlander Transmission Drain Plug?

OK -- instead of doing a flush, I decided to just suction out the old fluid and refil with some SP III i bought from the mitsu dealer. Kia wanted $5.30 per qt, and Mitsu wanted $4.25, so it was a no-brainer....anyway, sucked out about 4 qts, and then drove around awhile, and did it again. I'll probably do another suck/refill in about a week, and then start on a schedule that coincides with oil and filter changes -- every 4K or 4 months.
