overheatin problems

Question overheatin problems

im having trouble with my car overheating when im idling the block is not leaking anywhere and every time i check the reservoir its bone dry and i cant find where its leaking if it is leaking?

Check the fans and see if they are coming on. Does the car smoke at all?

If it's only happening when you're idling the first thing I would check would be the thermostat!! If it's stuck or bad that will definitely make it overheat. Hope this helps.

well one of the fans r on. and i recently replaced the thermostat

Try doing a compression test.

well some how it stopped overheating and is running alot better i seem to have done something right
